What Athletes Are Saying
“Charlotte's coaching bridges the gap between what we dream of as an athlete and crossing finish lines. Her expertise perfectly blends motivation with technical advice to make the most of every workout and make you feel confident and prepared to toe the start line. Having never worked with a running coach before, Charlotte and I stumbled into each other prior to what would be my first Boston marathon. Her coaching helped me transform my mentality to turn my ambitions into actions, and she did all of it with flexibility, consistency, and in a language I could understand. My takeaways and workouts absorbed a new level of energy knowing I had someone watching, guiding, and responding to how I felt and what I was experiencing.
I can honestly say Charlotte helped me surprise myself and open doors within my body and my mind to help reconstruct how I envision my future as an athlete.”
- Lauren Nutter
“Charlotte is an amazing person and coach! I feel that she has both attributes to be an effective influence as a coach. She is encouraging, and structured, with short and long term goals, and she uses Training Peaks well to check on her athletes progress in relation to these goals....sometimes a little too much LOL. She makes training fun, with small friendly competitions amongst her athletes, kicks the rear end as needed, and updates her coaching credentials often . Her clinics are small enough to be insightful, and she gives plenty of useful feedback. I think she loves coaching and helping people attain their goals, and even if she doesn't she definitely performs as such.”
Thank you so much for all your efforts Charlotte!

“Charlotte has been invaluable to my triathlon and marathon training. Before I signed up with Charlotte I had been training on my own for years and since then I have realized that I was training without a proper plan. Not only has she built me a proper training plan but she has taught me proper technique in swimming, running and biking. She’s a true teacher who is very thorough and good at explaining things. Swimming has always been my weakness and my swimming technique needed a lot of improvement! She spent a tremendous amount of time with me in teaching me how to swim properly and improve my technique. Most of all she is very personable, easy to talk too and always available.”
- Bonnie Nicolai
“I have been a triathlete for 10 years, am injury prone and work long hours on site in the oil and gas industry. I have struggled over the years with training setbacks and finding a way to train consistently given my unpredictable and exhausting work schedule and busy life. Charlotte was able to bring balance to my training -work-life schedules and I immediately started making continuous progress and improvements. Within months of working with Charlotte, I was running continuously for longer than I had ever done before! She also spent a lot of time helping me improve my swim technique at one of her amazing training camps through video analysis, drills and strength work designed to specifically address my technique and swim strength issues. On the bike I hammered out some efforts I had no idea I was capable of! She also has a lot of fuelling and race strategy advice that has really helped me to train harder and race better. The expertise, encouragement and structure that she brings to my training has not only made triathlon more fun, it has produced proven results and eased tension in trying to balance all of my responsibilities.”

“I started working with Charlotte when I had the crazy idea to train for an Ironman 70.3. I had only just started triathlon that year, it was my first time on a road bike, I could just run 5km and I was more of a floater than a swimmer. But I had determination and so did Charlotte. She made a plan for me to get to the start line, 52 weeks away which seemed like not enough at all. When I would get anxiety about being ready for the race, Charlotte would listen and reassure me. She would explain the plan, the reason behind what we are doing and wholeheartedly cheer me on. Just after Charlotte and I teamed up I was competing in a sprint triathlon, as soon as I crossed the finish line, the moment my foot went over the sensor my watch buzzed. It was Charlotte, she was watching my results on the internet and was the first to send me congratulations. My favourite thing about my coach is that she listens to my shenanigans, sometimes she even participates in them and she is always, always honest and kind with her feedback. She says her job is to get me to the start line, but I think it's more than that. Her job is to lift me up, give me a friendly poke when I need it and always be my biggest fan. And for that I am very thankful.”
- Martina Gardiner
“I had the good fortune of getting introduced to Charlotte by attending some of the webinars that Triathlon Alberta hosted and I was immediately impressed by her knowledge and enthusiasm for all things "triathlon". She then invited those interested to attend "for free" virtual spin sessions that she was hosting for her athletes every Tuesday and Thursday for 6 weeks. I found this very generous and I LOVED every class. She makes you work hard, smile, sweat and I thought they were the best spin workouts I had ever done and I have been a triathlete for over 20 years. All of the classes had lots of variety and were well thought out to make training gains occurred after each one. Thank you Charlotte!!”
- Lisa McCormick
“Thank you so much Charlotte! I looked forward to virtual zoom spin class from home each week during this world wide Covid Pandemic. You ran classes that are appropriate for all age and fitness levels. Encouraging physical fitness while on spin bikes or modified outdoor bikes. Coaching us through intensity intervals and encouraging everyone to control their performance within the safety of our own home. Thank you also for addressing not only physical wellness but social wellness. The discussions and questions before and after class helped with elevate a feeling of isolation. The choreography of the music played an important roll. Superb job on all fronts Charlotte!”
- Donna Cloutier
“Charlotte’s spinning workouts were amazing. They were fast-paced and challenging, but she kept reminding the participants that it was possible to adapt the pace to our own level of fitness. She was also available to answer our questions at the end of each session and encouraged us to email her if we had questions, suggestions or comments. My experience with Charlotte has been truly enjoyable.”
- Marie-Claude Nogue
“I absolutely loved those spin sessions and really appreciate you leading those for us. Those were some of the best workouts I have gotten in a while.”
